We had an awesome time in California with my family! We arrived on Friday and the next day was the Oakland A's vs. Tampa Bay Devil Rays. My parents took us as a present for Dan's birthday (May 1st) and it was the perfect gift! Plus, we both got shirts (more birthday presents)and we were all decked out for the game. Thanks Mom and Dad! We took the B.A.R.T. (Bay Area Rapid Transit) right the Coliseum. (definately the way to do it!) We all sat down, but Bria thought she was big stuff holding onto the pole.
Also, it was a give-away day, so we had to be early to get our Holliday jerseys. Yep, the same Holliday that was playing here in Colorado with the Rockies. Richie we will wear them for you on Sunday :) We saw the massive line to get in and we weren't sure that we would be able to get one. But, luckily. we all got one! Including Bria and Sofia!

We had the best time hanging out with Gramma and Grampa! Gramma brought "Stomper," the A's mascot, which Bria and Sofia both had fun playing with.
We saw a home run by Giambi and by Buck. The A's won 5-2! We B.A.R.T.ed back and ate some delicious In-and-Out for dinner. What a way to start our vacation!
