My Bria-girl turns 4!

Since my job requires several hours a day sitting at a computer, the last thing I want to do is get back on it-even to blog. So eventually I'll blog about our summer trips and several holidays. But right now, I have to blog about my beautiful Bria. It's so nice that I have a wonderful sister who blogged about Bria's previous birthdays, so I can concentrate on this one.

If you know how active Bria is, it makes perfect sense that when asked about what kind of party Bria wanted to have, she said, "a exercise party." She is very creative and I have no idea where she got the idea. (Maybe she's seen too many P90X workouts in the front room...) Later she added that she wanted, "a rainbow, exercise party." (Sorry, Angela already commented about a Richard Simmons "Sweatin' to the Oldies" party) Bria was thrilled to have rainbow decorations and wear her "exercise clothes" (Adidas tennis skirt and shirt). We had wristbands for all the kids, pink and purple butterflies for the girls and sports ones for the boys. Here are some of the kids showing me their new accessories.

We got some cardio going and then a little light stretching:

And then after balloon volleyball, some intense Hokey-Pokey, we had to jam to "All the Single Ladies." That's when I was informed that they were tired. So, we opened presents to give these little kiddos some down time.She was beyond spoiled by her friends' generosity.

After a memorable rendition of "Happy Birthday to you" Bria blew out her 4 candle on her tower of strawberry cupcakes. Of course, they were decked out with rainbow chip icing and rainbow sprinkles on top. Bria's favorite.

We had so much fun with all of Bria's little friends who were able to make it. Who doesn't love a little sugar with their exercise? You help make her day great.Happy birthday, Bria. We love you so, so much.
